This is an outrageous giveaway of land that rightfully belongs to the American people. Our speaker will discuss the political dynamics behind public land exploitation, and then we will take action to insist Congress conserve our public lands.

Our speaker, Julian Reyes, is an accomplished professional specializing in climate science, policy development, and environmental management. Currently serving as the Acting Branch Chief for Decision Support at the Bureau of Land Management, Reyes oversees the integration of climate adaptation efforts within BLM programs and National Environmental Policy Act analysis. Previous roles include Assistant Director for Climate Services at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, where new interagency coordination mechanisms were established, and Deputy Director for Services at the U.S. Global Change Research Program.
